Policy: We are dedicated to supporting our local community by donating gift cards and plants to organizations that share our commitment to education, sustainability, and community enrichment.

Criteria: To be considered for donation, organizations must meet the following criteria:

• Geographic Focus: Organizations must operate within Holland, Ohio or surrounding communities.
• Mission alignment: Preference is given to organizations whose missions align with our values, such as environmental conservation, horticulture education, and community beautification.
• Nonprofit Status: Preference is given to nonprofit organizations with a valid tax-exempt status.

Exclusions: Natures Corner generally does not provide donations to:

• For profit entities
• Individuals or individual sponsorships
• Political or religious organizations
• Organizations outside our local community.

How to Request a Donation: To be considered for a donation, please submit a request via the form below. Requests must be submitted at least four (4) weeks before the donation is needed. Organizations are limited to one (1) donation request per calendar year.

Review & Consideration: While we strive to support as many requests as possible, we prioritize organizations that align with our mission. Due to the high volume of requests, only approved applications will receive a response.

Acknowledgment: Approved recipients are required to provide a tax receipt for the donated amount. We kindly ask that recipients also acknowledge Nature’s Corner in any promotional materials related to the event or project

Nature’s Corner is proud to support our community through a fundraising program that benefits local organizations and their causes. Our gift card fundraiser is designed to be simple, effective, and rewarding for your organization while promoting a love for plants and gardening.

Program Details:

• Gift Card Sales: Approved organizations can sell $25 Nature’s Corner gift cards to supporters.
• Donation Back to Your Organization: For every $25 gift card sold, Nature’s Corner will donate $5 back to your organization.
• No Limit on Sales: There is no maximum or minimum number of gift cards your organization can sell.

Eligibility Requirements:

Organizations must meet the following criteria to participate in the fundraiser:

• Be a nonprofit or community-based organization (e.g., schools, sports teams, clubs, or registered charities).
• Submit a completed application form, including proof of nonprofit status (if applicable).

Application Process:

1. Complete the Fundraiser Application Form below.
2. Submit the application to Nature’s Corner at least 4 weeks before your intended fundraising start date.
3. Once approved, you’ll receive our fundraiser packet that will include order forms.
4. Once you are finished selling to your customers, bring the forms and payment to Nature’s Corner to purchase the number of gift cards sold. NOTE: If your customer is paying by check, all personal checks must be made out to your organization. One final check (or cash) for the total amount purchased is then payable to Nature’s Corner.
5. Distribute gift cards back to your customers.

Fundraiser Guidelines:

• Gift cards may only be sold for the standard value of $25. No discounts or markups are permitted.
• Funds raised by your organization are your responsibility to manage.
• Nature’s Corner will donate $5 per gift card upon reconciliation of the fundraiser.

Important Dates and Reconciliation:

• Fundraisers can run for up to 6 weeks from the start date.
• Nature’s Corner will write a check to the organization within 14 business days of reconciliation.
